- 7-8 large, ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup coconut cream
Optional Ingredients
- chopped peanuts or pecans
- cocoa nibs
- nut butter (swirl in before freezing)
- chopped dark chocolate
- Place bananas in baggie and place in freezer for at least 5 hours.
- Pour milk into blender container, followed by frozen bananas.
- Puree until smooth. Stir in optional ingredients.
- Serve immediately. If there's any left, spread into container and store in freezer.
Unripe bananas can give off a slight bitter taste when frozen - make sure to choose bananas that are starting to get brown spots on the skins.
